Today we’re working on a 2019 Hyundai Tuscon with Autel MaxiIM IM508S Key Programming Tool. Total in 2 steps: read password & key learning. Follow the article to learn the whole procedure.
Step1. Read Password
IMMO >> Hyundai >> Automatic selection >> Read
Turn on the ignition.
Confirm the VIN.
USA >> Yes >> Smart key >> Hot function >> Read immobilizer password >> Read pin code(8A smart card)
That function only supports models with 8A chip type smart card.
Press “Yes”.
Turn the Hazard warning light on.
Turn the ignition off
Open and then close the driver door once.
Autel IM508S starts reading password.
(This process takes a long time, please wait…)
The password that is read: 489543
Step2. Smart Key Learning
Smart key learning(guided) >> Start
This function supports add key and all key lost.
Performing this function will erase all existing keys, all the old keys must be relearned again to be able to use normally.
Press “Yes” to continue.
Turn the ignition off(Note: the instrument screen is black).
Open and then close the driver door once!
Please enter and confirm the 6-digit security code: 489543
Note! Click OK to complete the following steps:
Within 5s after OK is pressed, use the back or top of the smart key to hold down the START button for 5s until the anti-theft lamps flash.
(If the operation failed with the prompts, please remove the key case and re-execute the above steps so that the key chip can be successfully programmed)
Programming succeeded.
Press “Yes” to program next one, “No” to complete.
Please exit the system to the vehicle selection menu and check if the key is programmed successfully.
Check the new keys, everything is cool done.
