How to unlock/ reset smart key with Autel MaxiIM KM100? Next, I’m gonna unlock a BMW ID46 smart key as demonstration.
Before that, remove the BMW key shell and put circuit board into KM100 slot coil for reading first.
Reading/Cloning >> Reading
As we can see, the key status is Locked.
Special function >> Key unlocking >> BMW >> Third party 315MHz
Follow the wiring diagram here to solder circuit board.
Connect the cable to Autel KM100E when soldering completed.
Press “Unlock”.
Unlocking…please wait.
Unlocking completed.
Let’s go back to read the key again.
Key status has changed to be Unlocked now.
Reset BMW ID46 smart key successfully.
