AUTEL has launched a major immobilizer programming upgrade, extending its powerful “BMW G-Chassis Add Key” functionality to cover vehicles equipped with the BDC03 module (2020-2024 model years). This expansion allows professional locksmiths and automotive technicians to service nearly the entire modern BMW lineup, creating significant new revenue opportunities.
New BDC03 Coverage for BMW Programming
This update means your Autel MaxiIM IM508S or IM608 Pro2 can now perform key programming and key learning on newer BMWs that were previously unsupported.
The covered models include:
- BMW 3 Series (G20), 5 Series (G30), 7 Series (G70)
- BMW X3 (G01), X5 (G05), X7 (G07)

Attention Existing BDC02 Users: Upgrade Now!
If you have already invested in Autel’s BDC02 Add Key function, you can easily access this new BDC03 support through a software upgrade.
Here‘s what you need to perform the service:

MaxiIM IM508 II/ IM608 II
APB113 Adapter(optional)
- Required Hardware:
The Autel XP400 Pro Programmer is mandatory for all BMW key programming.
- Important Note on BDC02
For older BDC02-equipped vehicles, you still need the Autel G–BOX3 module in addition to the XP400 Pro.
- Required Software
The IMMO1YRUP Card(1-Year Immobilizer Subscription) unlocks this and other advanced IMMO functions.
