Autel MaxiIM KM100 is used here to complete remote learning on a 2023 Toyota RAV4.
The job is done through VIN-based vehicle selection and direct access to the Remote System (CAN) for adding and programming the remote.
Vehicle Identification (IMMO Path)
Enter on Autel KM100: IMMO → AutoVIN → Toyota → Confirm VIN with OK → RAV4 (2023) → Control Unit → Remote System (CAN) → Remote Control Learning
System Access & Precondition Setup
- Turn ignition ON and keep driver door OPEN
- Wait for system to enter configuration status (“Configuring system…” displayed)
Remote Learning Operation
- Press LOCK + UNLOCK together for 1 second
- Then press LOCK or UNLOCK for 1 second within 3 seconds
- Wait for system response indicating learning process completion
Verification
Confirm remote is learned. Lock and unlock functions respond as expected.
Workshop Notes
Keep ignition stable during the whole procedure. Timing on button inputs must be precise or the system will not register the remote.
